How it works
Our waterproofing is not a surface product that can wear off or fall off with time.
It enters the surfaces of concrete , brick, bock, and stone becoming a permanent part of the material.
These new products using crystalline technology to enter the surfaces and when moisture is present, these crystals expand up to fifty times these normal size sealing the surfaces completely including cracks up to 1/16th of an inch wide.
When the moisture is gone the crystals retract to they’re original size allowing the surface to breath.
There are many residual bonuses to having there surfaces waterproofed.
No chemicals such as salt or other ice melt products will be able to damage the waterproofed surfaces, it will also stop the intrusion of gas and diesel products.
It is proven to remove 95% of road salts that are already in the surfaces within two months.
Due to the unique caritoristics of our waterproofing, mold spores and moss are unable to grow as well, meaning the surfaces will get cleaner and brighter with time and stay cleaner as well as preventing mold from entering brick and block buildings.
Additionally, less ice will form do the fact that water is unable to enter the pours of the surfaces it evaporates at a far accelerated rate.
And finally, The City University in London has proven that graffiti is easier to remove on these surfaces waterproofed with our products.
Our Work
The first photo was taken in August this summer just before we applied our waterproofing right through the moss.
The second photo was taken about a month after in early September.
There are two interesting results to note.
First – The waterproofing didn’t hurt the moss and growth between the stones. Showing how harmless our products are.
Second – The moss on the stone is completely dead simply because it is now starved of moisture.
Meaning, once the dead moss dries up and blows away it can never grow back again. These people will be able to enjoy a moss free patio like they always wanted. And they like the moss Remaining between the stones.
This picture represents a test I performed on two rows of blocks It the fall and took this picture during a day of heavy rain.
The dark blocks are saturated with water which makes them very vulnerable to damage from cold weather.
The light colored blocks are the same color as on a dry day.
The cost of rebuilding the first wall was $120,000 two years ago.
I ask myself, what will that cost when they have to rebuild it again in 18 years from.
Until now there was no way to stop the damage.
